IBC’s telecoms forum

IBC Legal organised its 9th annual forum on telecoms regulations titled ‘Telecommunications Law & Regulations in the ME 2013’ in the region at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers on 10 and 11 December 2013. The seminar focused on the key challenges in the telecommunications regulations and competition law in the Middle East region. Martyn Taylor, partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in Australia was the chairman of the conference. Updates on key legal developments in various jurisdictions of the Gulf, competition law issues, spectrum, broadcasting, offshoring of information were some of the topics discussed at the two-day seminar. The sessions were well-researched and the conference itself timely considering the breakneck speed that which the sector is growing.
