Simmons & Simmons expands

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has further strengthened its corporate team with the hire of partner Tom Butcher in the UAE.

Butcher, who was previously Counsel at Allen & Overy in Abu Dhabi, joined the firm on 29 December 2013.  He has been in the region for over five years and he has extensive experience advising clients on a range of telecom and media M&A transactions, telecom infrastructure projects, outsourcings and technology procurements. He also advises on intellectual property and data protection related matters.
