Surabhi Singhi promoted to partner at Bird & Bird
Bird & Bird has appointed 13 partners, 3 senior counsel, 24 counsel, 1 legal director and 1 of counsel in its annual global promotion round. All effective from May 2024. Surabhi Singhi has been promoted to partner – corporate group in the firm’s Dubai office.

Surabhi Singhi is partner in the firm’s Corporate Group, based in the UAE, where she works as a lead counsel in M&A transactions. She also specialises in provision of employment law solutions to our clients. Having qualified as a lawyer in 2009, she has worked with clients in sectors including aviation, retail and consumer, energy, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, telecommunications and technology. She advises on regional and cross-border M&As, joint ventures, spin-offs, restructurings, IPOs, business establishment, as well as regulatory matters. Singhi also has experience in dealing with the day-to-day HR issues that companies face, including in relation to employment visas and permits and termination of employment in the UAE. She works closely with the firm’s preferred network coordinating advice on a multi-jurisdictional basis for companies with multinational operations in the Middle Eastern region. The clients that she acts for include governmental organisations, institutional investors and global and regional corporates based in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She has managed multiple high-profile transactions.
