Saarah Badr returns to Bird & Bird as senior counsel

Bird & Bird has welcomed media expert Saarah Badr, who rejoined Bird & Bird’s UAE team in the beginning of September as senior counsel.

Prior to rejoining Bird & Bird, Badr gained unique expertise and insights through several senior regional in house roles – bringing with her over 16 years of media, entertainment, regulatory, gaming, intellectual property and commercial experience.

Badr joins from a senior in house position, leading the regulatory team and serving as companies registrar at Creative Media Authority in Abu Dhabi. Prior to that, Badr worked at regional pay-tv platform OSN, overseeing the commercial legal and content compliance work. Badr’s deep understanding of the local laws and media landscape strengthens our TMT practice, making it one of the strongest teams in the region.
