He has been at the forefront of the Middle East financing market for many years, advising on some of the region’s most significant and innovative financing transactions. His arrival will further strengthen our global Banking & Loan Finance platform and enhance our ability to support clients on their most significant and complex transactions.”

Hussain advises on conventional, Shari’ah-compliant, and multi-sourced financing matters across the Middle East and internationally. He has been involved in a number of market-leading financing transactions and has advised on the structuring and development of several innovative financing products in the region.

Having worked across the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, Hussain has built extensive regional experience and is regularly recognised by leading legal directories for his banking and finance expertise, particularly in Islamic finance. He advises a broad range of international and regional financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and other market participants on sophisticated financing transactions.

Georgy Kalashnikov, head of the Middle East region, added, “The Middle East remains a strategically important market for the firm. Adil Hussain commented,”Clients operating in the Middle East increasingly require advice that combines local market knowledge with international reach. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s platform is exceptionally well positioned to meet those needs, and I am excited to join the team and contribute to the firm’s continued growth in the region.”

Hussain’s arrival is the latest step in Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s continued expansion of its Corporate & Finance practice in the Middle East. Recent additions to the team include M&A partners Simon Rahimzada and Vasi Papadopoulos and Private Equity & Funds partner Dounia Mansour in Dubai, as well as M&A partner Walid Salib in Riyadh, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to investing in top-tier talent across the region.
