The move reflects the firm’s continued investment in its regional platform, institutional capabilities in the industries that matter most to clients, and lasting presence in the Kingdom.

She has broad experience dealing with multifaceted real estate transactions, including the property elements of corporate and finance transactions. She undertakes a variety of commercial real estate work, including investment-focused property acquisitions, forward-funded development acquisitions and related restructuring, onshore and offshore financing, major letting, and management work.

“Greenberg Traurig operates as one firm globally, which means clients benefit from seamless access to lawyers, practices, and market knowledge across jurisdictions. We invest in the people and markets we believe in. Ashia’s relocation further strengthens our ability to deliver the local insight, global resources, and practical judgment clients need as they pursue opportunities in the Kingdom and across the region,” Greenberg Traurig executive chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum said.

“We are delighted to welcome Ashia to the Kingdom at such an important moment for our clients and the market. Ashia is a highly regarded real estate lawyer whose experience, energy, and collaborative approach will be a tremendous asset. We believe that the Kingdom is one of the most important legal markets in the world, and we are investing in our talent, institutional capabilities, and the industries that matter most to clients. Developing our legal talent and building the next generation of lawyers is core to the firm’s identity and future, and our regional growth will continue to be disciplined and client-led,” Middle East regional chairman and Riyadh managing shareholder Khalid A. Al-Thebity and Riyadh deputy managing shareholder Marwa Al-Siyabi said in a joint statement.

“Ashia’s relocation underscores Greenberg Traurig’s one-firm approach and the continued integration of our Middle East platform with the firm’s global network. As clients pursue increasingly sophisticated legal counsel, they benefit from Greenberg Traurig’s coordinated regional and international execution, seamless collaboration across practices and offices, and a single integrated team focused on the industries most relevant to their growth. This one-firm model creates meaningful opportunities for our team members across the entire network,” Greenberg Traurig executive vice president and London managing shareholder Fiona Adams said.
