BonelliErede opens new Milan headquarters in Porta Nuova
BonelliErede has relocated its Milan operations to a new headquarters at Via Fatebenefratelli 1, bringing together all of the firm’s Milan-based lawyers and business services professionals under one roof.
The move consolidates teams previously based across Via Barozzi, Via Andegari and Via Marostica into a 15,000 sqm building in central Milan. The office will also serve as the hub for the firm’s offices across the EMEA region.
The building comprises two towers connected by a central block and has been designed with a focus on sustainability and employee wellbeing. It incorporates photovoltaic and groundwater geothermal systems, as well as rainwater harvesting technology, and has achieved LEED Platinum (Core and Shell), WELL Platinum, WiredScore Development Platinum and BREEAM Refurbishment & Fit-Out Excellent certifications.
The new headquarters features a range of collaborative and client-facing spaces, including a courtyard garden, panoramic terraces, an auditorium, a library, dining facilities, a café and a gym. The eighth floor has been dedicated to client hospitality and showcases the firm’s history.
“Our new Milan office is an investment in how we work: It fosters collaboration among our people and allows us to offer clients an increasingly integrated experience, in line with the highest international standards. It is a step forward for BonelliErede, which is looking to the future while staying true to the values that have shaped our journey,” said Massimiliano Danusso, chairman of BonelliErede.
Managing partner Eliana Catalano said, “We wanted more than just a new office: we wanted a place that reflects who we are and where we are heading. That is why we involved our people in the design from day one, and today every space reflects a shared vision. It is a place where tradition and innovation meet and where different generations work side by side. Above all, it is a long-term commitment: an investment in the growth of our people and the firm for years to come.”
Angela Cossellu, general manager of BonelliErede, added, “Our new home is the result of over 2 years’ work by a large, interdisciplinary team, who brought their passion, expertise and energy to the project. Finally having all our Milan-based people in one place, in spaces designed to be welcoming and inclusive, allows us to further enhance both the integration of our expertise and the quality of the service we offer to clients. Our most sincere thanks go to everyone who made this project possible.”
BonelliErede worked on the project with Lombardini22, which oversaw design and construction management; Park Associati, which led the artistic direction and interior design concept; Coiver Group, which acted as general contractor; and Perelli Consulting, which provided project management services.
