Galadari appoints Hanan Al‑Qennah as senior counsel to strengthen regulatory practice

Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants has appointed Hanan Al-Qennah as senior counsel in the firm’s Legislative Strategy, Policies & Regulations practice, further strengthening its capabilities in legislative drafting, public policy and regulatory reform.

Hanan Al-Qennah brings more than 30 years of experience across the UAE and Jordan, spanning both the public and private sectors. She advises government entities, chambers of commerce, corporate clients and high net worth individuals on the development, review and amendment of laws, regulations and policy frameworks, as well as on licensing and regulatory compliance. She works closely with government authorities, executive councils and policymakers on legislative initiatives and has advised on the regulation of tourism and leisure activities, including licensing frameworks and sector policies.

Alongside her regulatory work, Hanan Al-Qennah has a broad corporate and commercial practice covering mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investment partnerships, restructuring and international business operations. She has advised on matters in the construction and oil and gas sectors, including upstream and downstream operations, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts and turnkey projects. Her experience also includes anti-money laundering compliance, governance advice to philanthropic foundations and policy advocacy for the business community.

She regularly advises senior management on complex legal and commercial matters, combining strategic and risk analysis to support sound decisions.
