Trowers & Hamlins secures Law Society award for Middle East

INTERNATIONAL law firm Trowers & Hamlins has been awarded the Law Society of England & Wales’ Lexcel legal quality mark across all of its international offices in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Cairo, Dubai and Oman.

After completing what it describes as “a rigorous application and assessment process,” Trowers & Hamlins is the first law firm to gain the award in the Middle East.

Jonathan Adlington, Senior Partner, Trowers and Hamlins, pictured, said: “We are proud to be the first firm to gain the Lexcel accreditation in the Middle East. It shows our clients and staff that we are managing the practice efficiently and have their best interests at heart. Being Lexcel accredited demonstrates our committment to client care and best practice.”

To gain and retain Lexcel accreditation, practice must undergo a rigorous initial then annual application and assessment process. This includes conducting suitability checks and an on-site visit from an experienced, trained Lexcel assessor.

Trowers & Hamlins is now one of more than 1100 other legal practices with Lexcel accreditation, including practices in Scotland, Poland and the Republic of Ireland.
