TLG gives real estate some TLC

TLG, The Legal Group, has made Ammad Naser head of real estate.

Naser previously worked as in-house counsel at Bangash Holdings, a real estate company based in Dubai. A spokesperson for TLG said his five years of significant experience and knowledge as part of the real estate team at some leading UK national firms, like Ross Coates Solicitors, Wolstenholmes LLP and Cedar White Bradley Consulting, makes him a valuable asset.

He specialises in legislative and regulatory issues for investors, owners and developers, particularly advising on the 2007 jointly owned property law, or Strata Law. He advises owners associations and managers on mixed use, sub division, acquisition, sale and compliance with strata legislation.

Ammad Naser said: “It is a pleasure to join such a forward thinking law firm with a strong presence and reputation in the UAE’s real estate and construction sector. I believe my experience, both in house and in private practice, will have a significant impact on the breadth of advice available to our clients, and will help build our presence in these core market sectors as the UAE economy grows.” TLG managing partner, Fareya Azfar, said: “Strata legislation has strengthened investor and purchaser confidence in the Dubai real estate market and given owners a real stake in the management of their buildings. Ammad will be advising our investor and developer clients on both the advantages and on compliance with strata laws.”
