Linklaters appoints new French head of IP

Linklaters has appointed PAULINE DEBRÉ as counsel and head of its Intellectual Property (IP) department in Paris. Debré’s arrival strengthens the existing team, which faces ever-increasing demands from clients on all aspects of IP law.

She has extensive IP experience, in particular national and cross-border patent litigation, notably in the field of life sciences and telecommunications. She also has expertise in advising and assisting clients on negotiating and drafting contracts related to IP rights (licences, assignments, R&D agreements, co-existence agreements) and is an active member of numerous associations: AIPPI, EPLAW, APEB, APRAM and LES.

In Paris, the firm’s IP team now comprises five lawyers, with wide experience in patents, trademarks, designs, models and copyrights as well as in the area of unfair competition.
