DLA Piper boosts capabilities in Qatar with key partner appointment
DLA Piper has announced the move of MEL SIMS, a partner from the corporate practice group in London to its Doha office in Qatar.
Sims is a long-standing partner at DLA Piper, having joined the firm in 1989. He is principally a private equity partner specialising in the financial services sector and regularly acts for private equity and banking institutions as well as management teams in the context of leveraged buy outs. He also has extensive experience in advising on joint venture enterprises and in acting for major corporates on cross border, multi-jurisdictional M & A transactions.
