Addleshaw Goddard grows Real Estate Practice

Addleshaw Goddard has continued to strengthen its GCC offering with the appointment of Real Estate partner Louise Vun as part of the firm's strategy of investing in new service lines in growth areas beyond the firm's established core offering of international arbitration, construction litigation and corporate.

Vun is the firm's first Real Estate partner in the GCC outside of its UK offices, and joins from the Dubai office of Allen & Overy. She has experience in a wide range of real estate matters in the Middle East including hospitality, mixed-use community schemes, real estate finance, restructurings and joint ventures. Louise is also familiar with the structural requirements ofShari'ah-compliant real estate and has worked on some of the market first real estate transactions in the UAE structured for international institutional investors.

Vun has experience in a wide range of sectors and represents government entities, sellers, purchasers, owners, developers, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants.

Commenting on the appointment, Andrew Greaves, head of GCC Region said, "Louise has significant experience of acting in Dubai and the wider region and a real estate practice which can be leveraged across our three GCC offices, and the UK as well as complimenting the investment we have already made in the UAE.
