Al Tamimi & Company strengthens Egypt corporate team with return of partner Ingy Darwish

Al Tamimi & Company has announced that Ingy Darwish has re-joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate Department in the Egypt office, further strengthening the firm’s leadership and corporate capabilities in the Egyptian market.

Darwish returns to Al Tamimi & Company following a distinguished period advising on complex, high-value corporate and M&A transactions across the Middle East. She brings deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, corporate restructurings, and strategic investments, with a strong track record in cross-border and growth-stage mandates. Ingy will focus on advising clients in Egypt and the UAE.

Darwish began her career with Al Tamimi & Company in Cairo, where she was an integral member of the Corporate practice. She has advised regional and international clients on M&A, private equity, capital markets and technology investments. Her experience spans advising investors, funds and founder backed companies on early and growth stage fundraisings and exits, including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on Egypt and the UAE.

Darwish holds a Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University, a Bachelor of Laws from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the American University in Cairo. She is admitted to practice with the Egyptian Bar Association.
