Alex Reid joins Charles Russell Speechlys in Dubai
Charles Russell Speechlys announced the lateral hire of Alex Reid. Reid joins as a partner within the firm’s corporate and commercial team and will be based in Dubai. He joins the firm from HFW, and his appointment will further strengthen and complement the firm’s offering in the UAE and regional market.
With over 20 years of experience, Reid is a transactional lawyer with an established and diverse corporate and commercial practice, focussing primarily on natural resources, transport and logistics, financial services and technology. He regularly advises his international and regional client base on a variety of complex corporate matters, commercial contracts, projects, restructurings, and reorganisations. He is also well-versed in assisting clients on matters of general company law and corporate governance.
A recognised practitioner in the UAE, Reid also has strong international relations, having advised on transactions across numerous jurisdictions throughout his career, spending various periods working in London, Paris, Shanghai, Moscow, and Stockholm.
