Arbitration and construction expert joins Bin Nakhira & Partners

Bin Nakhira & Partners has expanded its team with partner hire in Abu Dhabi.

The firm confirmed its addition of arbitration and construction expert Fernando Ortega, who has worked with firms such as Freshfields, Allen & Overy, DWF, and Holland & Knight in the UAE.

Ortega, who leads Bin Nakhira & Partners’ Arbitration and Enforcement practice, has been involved in commercial, investment and construction disputes in the United States, Latin America, and the MENA region for claims over USD1 billion.

In addition to general arbitral disputes, he assists stakeholders in construction claims on matters such as acceleration, delays, disruption, and variations, and works with O&G sector clients on downstream, midstream, and upstream project related claims.
