Big moves at Morgan Lewis

Morgan Lewis finds a new chairman in JAMI WINTZ MCKEON. She starts her five-year term as chair of the global firm following Francis M. Milone, who has led the firm through prosperity in geographic reach and range of practises with a devoted commitment to client service since 1999.

With over 30 years of dedication to Morgan Lewis,McKeon has developed her career by holding several significant management profiles including her membership on the firm’s Advisory Board and on its Compensation Committee. She also led Morgan Lewis’s largest practice group- the Litigation Practice, and was also a key person to lead the firm’s expansion in California, Texas and areas outside the United States.

McKeon will be continuing her practice of handling high stakes litigation and counsels for Fortune 100 companies on complex legal and regulatory issues while serving as Chair. She helped to pioneer several programs for clients focused on non-traditional fee arrangement which is prevalent in law firms today. She also has championed law firm diversity, and technological advancements both within the firm and to better assist clients with their data management requirements.

The American Lawyer recently recorded her as in the category Best Lawyers-Commercial Litigation and The Daily Journal established her as one of the “Top 75 Women Litigators” and as one of the “Top 100 Lawyers in California.” Earlier this year, The Legal Intelligencer named her one of its “Women of the Year.”
