Big moves at Taylor Wessing
Taylor Wessing announced that MARK FRASER has been appointed as managing partner which took effect from November 1, 2013. Fraser succeeded Christopher Dixon who had been the managing partner for over eight years. Dixon will remain actively involved in the direction of the firm as senior partner. Fraser was a partner in the construction and dispute resolution team and has over 28 years experience in contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering law, arbitration and insurance law in the Middle East, UK and Hong Kong. The firm also appointed HABIB ULLAH as the new head of banking. Ullah will spearhead Taylor Wessing Dubai’s finance practice, offering both conventional and Islamic finance expertise. He acts for a wide range of international and local banks and other financial institutions based both in Europe and the Middle East.
