BonelliErede boosts international footprint with launch of Dubai office
International law firm BonelliErede today announced the firm’s latest milestone in its international expansion, with the launch of a new office in the heart of the prestigious Dubai International Financial Centre. Combined with the recent openings in Cairo and Addis Ababa, the firm now boasts regional presence in both Africa and the Middle East.
From this new prime location, BonelliErede can now provide on-the-ground support to its ever increasing international and local client base in the GCC. The firm’s local service offering is centred around M&A, project finance and PPP, international taxation and arbitration, arts and cultural property law, and compliance. The main sectors that will be served by the local team are insurance, shipping, healthcare and life sciences, construction and private equity, besides the long-established oil and gas industry.
BonelliErede’s diverse client portfolio includes local businesses, multinationals, financial institutions and private investors and with its ever-growing international footprint, BonelliErede is better placed than ever to help its clients bring complex cross-border projects to fruition.
Co-managing partners Stefano Simontacchi and Marcello Giustiniani commented on today’s announcement, “The launch of the Dubai office is just the latest milestone in the firm’s global expansion strategy. Following our recent launch in Africa, the GCC was the natural next step in our ambitions to grow our international presence. The Dubai office will act as a hub for our growth in the Middle East and further enhances our ability to offer navigation for international investment into Africa.”
Executive chairman of the Dubai office, Andrea Carta Mantiglia, who previously headed BonelliErede’s London office for five years, added, “We all firmly believe that, with our heritage, strong organisational structure and record of success, BonelliErede is extremely well-equipped to serve a wide-ranging mix of businesses in the region, across a number of areas and our investment in Dubai is testament to this belief.”
