Bracewell & Giuliani hires new partner

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced the hire of ROBERT J. HARKER as a new partner in their Dubai office. Harker’s focal point of practice is on large-scale power, renewables, petrochemical and refinery projects in the Middle East and North Africa, primarily in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.

With more than 12 years of experience in refinery, petrochemicals and power financings, inclusive of large-scale multi-source financings involving international and domestic banks, export credit agencies and Islamic finance institutions, Harker’semployment expands Bracewell’s international energy platform and the scope of their clients globally. He has represented sponsors and financial institutions on significant infrastructure projects in aspects related to project financing, development, bids, acquisitions and disposals in the Middle East and in Europe.
