Brown Rudnck collaborates with two UAE law firms

Brown Rudnick LLP, an international law firm, has signed collaboration agreements with two UAE law firms, Hikmat Fayad & Associates and Walid Nasser & Associates.

Brown Rudnick will partner with both firms on transactions and disputesled by Nicholas Tse, partner and head of Brown Rudnick’s MENA Practice and Sebastien Bonnard, partner and head of Brown Rudnick’s Paris office.

The agreements bring together the local firms' strong experience in handling Arabic-language transactional work and disputes before State Courts and in arbitration, with Brown Rudnick's reputation and track record for handling complex common law and civil law transactions and litigation and arbitration relating to the MENA region.

Hikmat Fayad & Associates was founded in Beirut in 1970 and in Dubai in 1977, and focuses on litigation, arbitration and corporate work. Walid Nasser & Associates was founded in Beirut in the 1980s has an international transactional and disputes practice.

Brown Rudnick has been active in the MENA region for some time.  Through offices in London and Paris, the firm offers clients an integrated bi-lingual team of English barristers and French avocats (some dual-qualified), combining both civil and common law competencies with extensive multi-jurisdictional trial experience, and supported by a strong US litigation capability.
