Camerons promotes eight, makes 34 appointments

 

CMSCameron McKenna has announced its partner promotions with eight UK lawyers being made up in global round of 34 appointments across the CMS network.
 
 
The UK-headquatered firm is promoting real estate lawyers Danielle Drummond Brassington and Ashley Damiral, capital markets lawyer Michael Cavers, energy expert Olivia Quaid, pensions specialist Dominic Harris and disputes lawyer
 
 
Juan Crosby to the London partnership, alongside corporate lawyer James Parkes and competition lawyer Caroline Hobson.
 
 
Internationally, there are a further 26 partner promotions, in practices such as TMT, maritime and IP. The promotions span 12 offices, with a dozen partners appointed between Stuttgart, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Cologne, six in Paris, three in Vienna, two apiece in the Netherlands
 
 
and Italy and one in Brussels. There are two lateral hires – tax lawyers Stefano Chirichigno in the Rome office and Victor Hernan in Madrid. They join from Di Tanno e Associati and KPMG Abogados, respectively. CMS management said that with the addition of Portuguese arm CMS RPA in January 2012 the total number of additional partners in the CMS network is 50.
