Dentons enhances UAE Corporate practice
Dentons has added to its UAE Corporate practice with the hire of partner Ghassan Shuhaibar in Dubai. Ghassan joins from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman’s Dubai office and has been based in Dubai for five years.
Shuhaibar’s focus is on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, restructurings and equity capital markets. His clients consist mainly of private equity funds, investment and retail banks, energy companies, multinationals, local conglomerates and major contractors.
Shuhaibar has considerable experience advising under English law as well as working within various legal and regulatory frameworks across the GCC, wider Middle East and North Africa and other significant emerging markets. He also focuses on the delivery of local law advice in the areas of corporate, commercial, regulatory and employment laws, particularly in the UAE, KSA, Qatar and Kuwait.
