DLA Piper scoops ‘foreign law firm’ award

DLA Piper’s Kyiv office has been awarded ‘Foreign Law Firm of the year 2012’ at the Yuridicheskaya Practika weekly legal awards, which recently took place at the Hyatt hotel, Ukraine. Selected for the coveted title, by an independent panel of Ukrainian legal experts, Kyiv office managing partner Margarita Karpenko, said that this award shrines the firm’s efforts “to bring top-flight international standards of legal practice into the Ukrainian market.” The legal Awards ceremony is in its 6th year and DLA Piper has, in the past been recognised in various categories, including ‘Foreign law firm of the year in 2008.’
