Du VP joins DLA Piper

MAHMOOD Ahmad, former vice president at Du has joined DLA Piper’s Dubai office as legal director.
 
The Emirati’s experience spans both the public and private sectors having advised board members and governmental agencies for the last ten years. He also played an instrumental role in the development of the “Security, Justice and Safety” segment of the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, and was previously Deputy Registrar of the DIFC Courts. Under Mahmood’s leadership Du Telecom was placed first in 2011 in the Governance Index: Standard & Poor’s / Hawkamah Pan Arab ESG Index.
