Eversheds announces further investment in the Middle East

 

GLOBAL law firm Eversheds, has announced the appointment of Nasser Ali Khasawneh as managing partner of the firm’s operations in the Middle East.
 
Current managing partner Chris Jobson, one of the architects of Eversheds bold merger in the region in 2011 with legal consortium KSLG, will take up a new appointment as chairman of the firm’s Middle East region. In addition, Chris will concentrate on expanding the firms operation’s in Qatar, which is witnessing rapid growth in non-contentious areas of work including banking, corporate and infrastructure, as the country gears up for the World Cup in 2022 and its 2030 Vision.
 
Nasser Ali Khasawneh will take up his new appointment at the beginning of November.
 
He commented, “Chris has done an amazing job of growing the firm’s presence in the region. This year, our financial results showed a 100 percent growth rate for the firm in the Middle East and Eversheds commitment and investment in the region continues beyond the merger of 2011. I am very excited about the future of Eversheds in the Middle East and looking forward to collaborating with our people and partners to achieve even greater success in the future.”
