Foot Anstey’s Islamic Finance team obtains IFQ
Seven Islamic finance specialists at the regional law firm Foot Anstey have recently obtained the Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ), a level 3 certificate globally recognised as the standard market qualification for Islamic finance practitioners run by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
An international industry standard benchmark for Islamic bankers, the IFQ provides an additional level of expertise for our team of specialists, covering Islamic finance from both a technical and a Shari’ah perspective. In the past one year, the firm’s Bristol-based office has closed over £200,000,000 worth of financing and investment deals for shariah compliant banks and Middle Eastern investors.
