Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners advises Hitachi Rail

The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners has advised Hitachi Rail STS S.p.A. in the execution of AED1.6bn (approx. USD435.6m) systems and integration contract with Etihad Rail for stage two of the rail network. The second stage of the project involves the construction of a 605km rail link between Ghuweifat on the border with Saudi Arabia and Fujairah on the east coast.

The contract was signed at the presence of His Royal Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, President of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court and Chairman of Etihad Rail, and His Highness Akihiko Nakajima, Japanese Ambassador in UAE.
