Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo acts for Afreximbank
Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo office, acted as an Egyptian legal counsel to the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in connection with its secured refinancing facility worth USD44 million to Egypt-based CIAF Leasing, the Egyptian joint-stock company that provides aircraft and equipment rental.
The aircraft refinancing facility aims to support CIAF’s Leasing ongoing operations, growth and expansion plans including in its acquisition of three Embraer E-190 aircrafts to strengthen the company’s leasing operations.
