Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo had advised Raya for Advanced Manufacturing (“Raya Auto”) on its  agreement with Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Trading Co Ltd (“XPeng Motors”), a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. Raya Auto, a distinguished subsidiary of Raya Holding specialising in the assembly and manufacturing of four, three and two-wheeled vehicles, is set to expand its offerings by importing, retailing and selling Xpeng Motor’s  electric vehicles in Egypt.

The Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo team provided counsel to Raya Auto in reviewing and negotiating the importer dealer agreement entered into between Raya Auto, Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Trading Co. Ltd., and Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co. Ltd. The team was led by partner Ghada ElEhwany and senior associate Heba Samy.
