Holland & Knight expands Abu Dhabi office

THE law firm, Holland & Knight has recently expanded its Abu Dhabi office with the appointment of new partner, Marc Sukkar and associate, Nijoe Joseph.
 
Andrew Stephenson, executive partner of the Abu Dhabi office says, “Their appointment will significantly expand the range of services we offer to both our UAE and international clients. They both possess extensive experience in the Middle East and will be instrumental to the continuing growth of the office.” Sukkar specialises in construction law, energy and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, he was a senior counsel for Msheireb Properties, a subsidiary for Qatar Foundation. He was also senior legal advisor at Salam International Investment Ltd in Doha. Joseph focuses on corporate and commercial laws as well as trade and transportation laws in the UAE, GCC and India. Prior to his new appointment, he also worked as legal advisor and regulations specialist with the Abu Dhabi department of Transport.
 
In addition to Sukkar and Joseph, the firm’s Abu Dhabi attorneys include partners Michael Cavanaugh, Wayne Gray, George Howell and Joseph McDonough, Senior Counsel Mehrnoosh Aryanpour, and associates Farid Hekmat, Tania Jarjur and Mohammad Sheikh.
