Kennedys appoints Isgar

Kennedys has grown its corporate insurance expertise by welcoming Simon Isgar as a partner in its Dubai office.

Joining from local firm Everys Legal Consultancy, Isgar specialises in insurance, corporate

and commercial law and has 12 years’ experience representing various stakeholders in the

insurance markets globally. Simon becomes the firm’s fifth partner in the UAE.

Isgar frequently advises on international regulatory issues with medical and life insurers

and also advises insurance intermediaries on placement of risks and products in foreign

markets, including underwriting agents and brokers. His corporate insurance work has

included setting up international insurers and agents in foreign markets through local

incorporation, reinsurance arrangements and partnering with local licensed insurers across

all lines of business.
