Key partner appointments at Clyde & Co
Clyde & Co announced the appointments of Glenn Lovell and Dino Wilkinson as partners in its corporate practice in Riyadh and TMT practice in Dubai respectively.
Glenn Lovell joins as partner in the firm’s corporate practice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Lovell joins from King Wood Mallesons (KWM) where he was also a partner. He has been based in Saudi Arabia since 2008 and he has built up a broad client base and sound knowledge of local legal matters, resulting in him being a ranked Saudi Arabia lawyer in Chambers & Partners 2016 and a recommended lawyer in Legal 500. Having been instrumental in the setting-up of two firms in Saudi Arabia, Lovell has gained a considerable amount of expertise in areas such corporate structuring, corporate commercial, banking and finance, and capital markets. Lovell has also been involved in many matters related to direct foreign investment with the licensing and establishment of foreign investment vehicles. Lovell is being joined by senior associate Ahmed Mahomed, also from KWM, who has worked with Glenn since 2012.
Clyde & Co also announced the appointment of Dino Wilkinson as partner in its Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Wilkinson joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was a commercial lawyer specialising in the TMT sector, advising on technology law and contracts, outsourcing, procurement, data protection and cyber risk issues. Wilkinson has been based in Abu Dhabi since 2010, but has been advising clients in the Middle East for more than ten years. He has built a substantial technology and commercial practice in the UAE and has developed strong connections as relationship partner for significant public sector entities and corporate clients. He is one of a handful of Band 1 TMT lawyers in the Middle East legal directories.
