According to local dailies, the UAE Government is developing a comprehensive legal framework to regulate the energy sector, according to Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of the Minister of Energy. “This framework will regulate and defined energy production, energy resources, waste recycling and energy saving and all other issues related to the energy sector. We are coordinating with all government entities across the UAE to develop these rules and regulations,” Neyadi told media on the sideline of World Green Economy Summit in Dubai last month.
