Linklaters announces new Middle East managing partner
Linklaters has announced that Jonathan Fried has been appointed as managing partner for the Middle East, effective December 1, 2022. Fried will also contribute towards key management decisions that help shape the firm’s overall strategy.
Fried has been with Linklaters for over 20 years and as the firm’s Middle East head of capital markets has built a successful practice covering the full range of products across all sectors. Widely recognised as a leading adviser in the Middle East, he has considerable experience supporting sovereigns, government-related entities, financial institutions and companies on their critical international financings.
Fried replaces corporate partner Scott Campbell, who has held the role since 2014.
