Mansoori appointed director general of TRA

Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori has been appointed as director general of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. Al Mansoori has served as the director general of UAE Smart Government since April 2014 and was deputy director general of information and e-government sector at the TRA, from May 2013 to April 2014. According to state news agency Wam, Mr Al Mansoori holds a master’s degree in multimedia and computer science from Middlesex University.
