Marc Norman promoted to partner at Covington

Covington has promoted 15 new lawyers to its partnership. Marc Norman takes on the partnership role in the firm’s Dubai office.

“Our new partners practice across a range of areas critical to our clients and add importantly to the firm’s strengths,” said Doug Gibson, Covington’s chair. “These promotions further our efforts to build a strong group of next-generation partners, reflect our commitment to succession planning, and ensure that our practices remain vibrant well into the future. This class also reflects the breadth of opportunity across our firm as well as our ongoing dedication to recruiting, developing, and retaining lawyers who will carry Covington forward with excellence.”

Norman is a project development and finance lawyer whose practice focuses on the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors, combining deep transactional expertise with strategic risk counsel at the intersection of geopolitics, law, and technology. He is a leading practitioner in the data center sector and has been actively involved in cutting-edge data center projects in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Norman joins Haykel Hajjaji and Antonio Michaelides, who were both promoted at the firm last year.
