MAS Law expands to Saudi Arabia
MAS Advocates has announced a significant milestone in its journey by joining forces with AlAmmar Law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Mas Advocates, established in 2018 by the prominent litigator Mohammed Alserkal, is a full service law firm based out of the United Arab Emirates with offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The firm is ranked by Chambers and Partners for its strong criminal and commercial dispute resolution practice led by Mohammed Alserkal, Abdelmajeed Zwairi and Yazeed Samain, in addition to its finance and insolvency practice led by Salam Smadi.
AlAmmar Law was established in Riyadh in 2006 by its founders, Mohammed and Bader AlAmmar, and since then, it has represented numerous high-profile clients in the region in commercial and corporate transactions.
Both firms will be operating under one brand (MAS LAW), with more than twenty-five lawyers and legal professionals, including seven partners. This strategic re-branding reflects our commitment to expanding our regional corporate and transactional practice led by Anmar Algahrifi out of Riyadh, a partner of MAS LAW who joined the firm in 2023 from Eversheds Sutherland, and Mohammed Alammar.
This step brings together the complementary strengths, experiences, and resources of both firms and helps to serve their clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It will further create a regional legal platform with an unmatched group of partners, who are all equipped with many years of experience with prominent international law firms.
The two firms have recently worked closely on developing several significant client relations in the Middle East, and successfully represented joint clients on a number of contentious and non- contentious matters including cross-border M&A transactions, arbitration proceedings and litigation disputes.
