Mayer Brown hires partner Amr Aly in New York

 

MAYER Brown, a leading global law firm, has appointed Amr Aly in its New York office as a partner in the intellectual property practice. John Mancini, co-leader of Mayer Brown’s global intellectual property practice said, “With more than 16 years of trial experience in patent litigation, Amr’s appointment continues to build upon the depth and strength of our intellectual property practice and further enhances our capabilities to service our clients’ needs in patent litigation, particularly in the technology and pharmaceutical sectors.”
 
Aly holds experience in telecom, networking, data encryption and security. He has been involved in major complex litigations, including multiparty and multidistrict litigations, and has been a key member of litigation teams, which secured favorable pre-trial results that, were affirmed by the federal circuit.
