New global interactive risk-mapping tool for GCs
Leveraging the expertise of its member firms, Lex Mundi has created an interactive guide that identifies high-level regulatory and legislative developments expected in the first half of 2021.
Lex Mundi has launched a new, user-friendly tool: 2021 Global Risk Navigator. This is a global horizon scan tool for General Counsel and their in-house teams working in multinational companies to anticipate and proactively respond to the changing business and regulatory landscape, which has been redefined by the impact of COVID-19.
Leveraging the expertise of its member firms, Lex Mundi has created an interactive guide that identifies high-level regulatory and legislative developments expected in the first half of 2021, thereby helping legal departments across industries and sectors stay abreast of upcoming developments that may impact their business plans, supply chains and product lines in particular countries. The five regions covered are: North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and Asia and the Pacific.
The new risk-mapping tool will allow General Counsel and their teams to select jurisdictions of interest and create side-by-side custom reports to benchmark legal developments on the horizon across the board and to set priorities for the new year.
This horizon scan tool will be updated on a regular basis to reflect on-going developments across jurisdictions.
Lex Mundi’s Head of North America in the Global Markets team, Jenny Karlsson, commented, “The pandemic continues to disrupt the business landscape, and this is being felt across the globe. Over the past few months, as clients alter their supply chains and reimagine their approach to doing business, General Counsel are asking how they can better anticipate and proactively respond to the ever-changing regulatory environment across the many different jurisdictions in which they operate. Our new 2021 Global Risk Navigator was created to support General Counsel and give them the ability to look around corners as they face a constantly evolving terrain. This tool provides General Counsel and their teams with valuable information to navigate the upcoming regulatory and legislative developments in 2021, allowing them to anticipate and adjust their business strategies accordingly.”
