New head of corporate services for Conyers

Conyers Dill & Pearman appointed Dennis Ryan as head of corporate services in its Dubai office, effective from July 1, 2014. He holds this position in addition to his role as counsel.

An experienced corporate lawyer, Ryan joined Conyers’ Cayman office in 2007 and transferred to the Firm’s Dubai office in 2009. His practice involves all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on conventional and Islamic banking and finance and related security and restructuring matters.  Ryan also has extensive experience with respect to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity matters. As a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Ryan regularly advises family office and high net worth individual clients on offshore corporate and trust structures including the formation of private trust companies. 

In his role as head of corporate services in Dubai, Ryan will oversee the operations of Conyers’ affiliate Codan International Limited, which works with Conyers’ network to provide a range of corporate services to MENA and international clients, including the incorporation of companies in Bermuda the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Mauritius and the DIFC.
