Norton Rose Fulbright supports Lesha Bank on aircraft portfolio acquisition from Avolon

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Lesha Bank LLC (Public) on its acquisition, through an investment structure on behalf of Lesha Aviation Fund, of a portfolio of 33 commercial aircraft from Avolon.

The transaction comprises a diversified portfolio of commercial aircraft leased to 25 airlines globally and supports Lesha Bank’s strategy of expanding its Shari’a-compliant aviation investment platform through income-generating assets.

Following completion of the transaction, the portfolio will be managed by Lesha Aviation Services.

Norton Rose Fulbright advised Lesha Bank on all aspects of the transaction. The multi-jurisdictional team was led by partners Leo Fattorini (Singapore), Alex Blaney and Andrew Williams (London), and included counsel Chris Healy (Hong Kong) and senior associate Chiranj Shah (London), as well as more than 20 other team members across EMEA and the US.
