OGH Legal enhances UAE presence with new Abu Dhabi office
OGH Legal (“OGH”) has announced its opening of an additional office in the UAE. Until recently, OGH’s Dubai office served clients throughout the seven Emirates with their various local and Federal Court Circuits. More recently however, and to allow for a more geographically seamless service, the opening of an Abu Dhabi office has become more pressing.
The Abu Dhabi office will be focused on Abu Dhabi and Al Ain local and federal court cases handled by the OGH team.
OGH’s unique UAE specialised litigation offering has been a catalyst of the firm’s strategic growth. The opening of the Abu Dhabi office is reflection of OGH’s commitment to the UAE, and more specifically our Abu Dhabi clients.
Sherif Hikal, co-founding partner, will lead the Abu Dhabi office team bringing his 25 years’ experience of acting on complex banking and general commercial litigation. He commented, “We are delighted to be opening our office in the UAE’s Capital, Abu Dhabi. We are committed to our Abu Dhabi clients and see this as further dedication. The team and I are eager to expand our Abu Dhabi practice even further”.
Mohamed ElGhatit, OGH co-founding and managing partner, commented, “OGH already handles a number of high profile and complex litigations in Abu Dhabi. Indeed, a number of our major clients are Abu Dhabi based. Having boots on the ground was a natural next step. The feedback from existing Abu Dhabi based clients has been overwhelmingly positive. Our projections show a very busy 2022/2023 judicial year for OGH across the Emirates”.
