Partner promotions at Addleshaw Goddard
Addleshaw Goddard has announced its first international partner promotions, with the promotion of two of the firm’s Dubai-based lawyers.
Darren Harris in Corporate and Bevan Farmer in Litigation have been promoted to partner.
Harris acts on a range of corporate matters, including M&A acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations, joint ventures and shareholder disputes and his particular focus is private equity transactions in the MENA region and the UK.
He has advised companies, private equity houses, management teams and high net worth individuals. Harris has experience of a number of cross-border transactions having been involved in various multi-jurisdiction transactions.
Farmer specialises in projects, construction and engineering law. He advises on contract negotiation, project delivery and dispute resolution, including arbitration, litigation and all forms of ADR. His particular experience includes advising clients on projects in the energy & utilities, healthcare, transport infrastructure and real estate sectors throughout the GCC and Africa.
Farmer is familiar with all international standard forms of construction contract including FIDIC, ICE, NEC and JCT and several of the bespoke forms used by government and quasi-government companies in the GCC.
