Promotions at King & Spalding

King & Spalding has named 17 new partners, effective from January 1, 2018. The partner elections span 11 practices across seven offices (Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, London, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.).

“Our new class of partners are a smart, talented, entrepreneurial cohort with a strong commitment to collaboration with clients and their colleagues across our 20 offices,” said Robert D. Hays, Jr., chairman of King & Spalding. “This year’s class spans a range of expertise in complex litigation and transactional matters, and reflects the growth of the firm’s corporate work with new partners who focus on finance, corporate governance, M&A and restructuring.” The firm also announced the promotions of lawyers to counsel. They represent nine practices in seven offices (Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dubai, New York, San Francisco/ Sacramento, Washington, D.C.). In Dubai, Sarah-Jane Mahmood and Asal Saghari were promoted to counsel.
