Partner promotions at Simmons & Simmons Dubai

Simmons & Simmons has announced the promotion of Adam Wolstenholme and David McDonald to partners in its Dubai office, effective as of May 1, 2024. These appointments underscore the firm’s commitment to nurturing talent and reinforcing its leadership position in its core sectors.

Adam Wolstenholme now assumes the role of partner in the Financial Markets team. With his extensive experience and dedication to client service, Wolstenholme has been instrumental in advising clients on complex international, cross-border financial services regulatory and financial crime matters. David McDonald, who has successfully led the firm’s Middle East Employment Practice has been promoted to partner. He will continue to spearhead the firm’s successful regional Employment practice which he has enjoyed building and for which he is highly respected. McDonald’s decade of regional experience has garnered him a reputation as a leading authority in employment law, particularly within the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar markets. His vast knowledge and understanding of the developing legal landscape and his adeptness in navigating the complexities of the employment laws have made him a trusted and highly valued advisor to clients across the firm’s key sectors (Asset Management and Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Healthcare and Life Sciences and Telecoms, Media and Technology).
