Qatar plans on law amends to woo investment

In an effort to improve business conditions in the country, Emir of the State of Qatar, H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has instructed the government to amend laws to make business and investment options easier. Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, H E Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater, said that comprehensive changes are being considered for at least two dozen laws in this regard. Three laws have already been enforced while the rest are under review.
