THE Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) has appointed Christopher Grout as the new acting registrar. He will serve the Qatar International Court, which incorporates the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFC) Civil and Commercial Court and Regulatory Tribunal, fulfilling a three-pronlonged role – legal, judicial and managerial.

As part of his new role, Grout reports directly to QICDRC CEO, Robert Musgrove and is liable to the president of the court and the chairman of the Regulatory Tribunal for legal and judicial decisions.

“Christopher’s appointment will complement the expertise and experience of our international judiciary. As well as his experience at the England and Wales Bar, Christopher also has a background in the development of court procedures and legal education to which he will contribute strongly,” said Musgrove.
