Shearman & Sterling continues expansion with Oil & Gas hire

Shearman & Sterling has announced the arrival of Renad Younes, who joins the firm’s Abu Dhabi office as a partner. Younes’ practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions and project development in the oil & gas sector across each of the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors.

Renad is the third the third energy and infrastructure partner to join the firm in the past two months, following the arrival of partners Tim Sheddick and Katie Hicks to our London office. These latest hires bring the total of Shearman & Sterling new lateral partner appointments globally to 40 this year, including 16 internal partner promotions.
