SIAC signs MoU with the ADGMAC
The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Global Market Arbitration Centre (ADGMAC) to promote international arbitration as a preferred method of dispute resolution for resolving international disputes.
Under the MoU, SIAC and ADGMAC will jointly organise conferences, seminars and workshops on international arbitration in Abu Dhabi and Singapore. ADGMAC will extend the use of its hearing facilities at preferential rates for SIAC arbitration hearings that are held in Abu Dhabi, and SIAC will assist to arrange hearing facilities in Maxwell Chambers at preferential rates for ADGM-seated arbitration hearings that are held in Singapore.
The MoU was signed on April 8, 2021 by Lim Seok Hui, chief executive officer of SIAC, and Linda Fitz-Alan, registrar and chief executive of the ADGM Courts.
